BORROWING & CONSULTATION

Borrowing and consultation services are available to both Staff and students registered in the Ibrahim Babangida Library, Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola.

The enrolment occurs at the Ibrahim Babangida Library.

 

CONSULTATION

Consultation is permitted for all library material, apart for exceptions determined by an individual library.

 

BORROWING

Loan service is granted to all library users in accordance with the assigned profile. The library decides the kind of material that cannot be borrowed or that is available only on short-term loan (1 day).

 

Internal users

Mautech Staff – 6 items for 30 days, of which a maximum of 6 from the same library.  Four 30-day renewals allowed for each item.

 

Mautech students (Undergraduate) – 3 items for 14 days, of which a maximum of 3 from the same library. 14-day renewals are allowed for each item.

 

Mautech students (Post Graduate) – 5 items for 14 days, of which a maximum of 5 from the same library. 14-day renewals are allowed for each item

 

External users

Visiting lecturers – 5 items for 14 days, the same as for University students.

Material can be renewed directly at the library beginning 5 days before the due date. Short-term loans cannot be renewed.

If an item is not available, it can be reserved online using Open Web.
